Difficile de tester le RIP si tu ne parviens pas à distiller un .ps.
Mais je ne me fais pas trop de soucis pour la suite du processus, vu que Moonshiner s’appuie sur GhostScript et que l’auteur a déjà fait ses propres tests et s’en sert au quotidien.

bon alors j’ai testé moonshiner… sans succès !

j’ai créé un fichier test.ps sous scribus, j’ai ensuite lancé moonshiner mais ma première erreur fut que le drag & drop ne fonctionne pas ! donc impossible de séléctionner mon fichier .ps

J’ai tout de même utilisé la syntaxe « moonshiner test.pdf » qui ouvre correctement moonshiner. Mais quand je clique sur « go moonshiner » le programme plante…

Sinon pour les tests sur les rips je vais pas pouvoir faire ça au boulot car je ne suis plus dans la même boite et donc je n’utilise plus de rip… Par contre je pourrais essayer avec un RIP de l’école à l’occaz !

First of all, the actual work of creating the PDF is not done by Moonshiner itself, but by Ghostscript, which in my view is a quite mature program. Moonshiner only passes the appropriate parameters to Ghostscript.

Those things said, I have used it myself for quite a few projects (with considerable circulations) that have been sent to an offset print service, with highly satisfying results. As always, of course, your mileage may vary; but I consider Ghostscript to be a trustworthy program, and I have yet to be disappointed. And (if I haven’t made any mistakes) Moonshiner tells Ghostscript to do its work according to the settings you choose in Moonshiner.

To be precise, I have been using it *exclusively* for print work.
